Quel Fromage is Bellingham's premier artisan cheese shop and purveyor of fine foods offering a wide selection of artisan cheese & accoutrements. In addition to over 100 cheese selections which rotate frequently, we offer Armandino Batali's famed Salumi as well as other cured meats, and fresh daily Breadfarm baguettes. Fill your pantry with our mouthwatering selection of finer crackers + crostini, cheese condiments, pates, olives, nuts, chocolates, caramels, knives, boards, slates, books, fondue pots and an inspired selection of wine. We also offer a variety of house-made delectables such as peppadews hand stuffed with Cypress Grove chevre, and jumbo Sicilian olives with blue cheese.

Our cheese comes to us from around the world as well as around the corner. We offer many imported products, as well as domestic goods from across the country & local makers. Our only prerequisites are that our products be exceptional as well as artisan, which we define as a product produced in a limited quantity using traditional methods. We are constantly in search of excellent and unique products which are not yet available in the area and will always have something new and exciting to introduce.

We offer a comfortable and sophisticated setting in which to explore new
flavors and indulge in long time favorites. You do not need a background
in cheese to shop… if you are unsure of your preferences we can assist you in defining them. We have a liberal tasting policy as we are dedicated to sending you out the door with a delicacy you will enjoy.

Our receipts give you a complete description of your purchases including the pronunciation, country of origin, milk type & wine pairings to ensure that your experience doesn’t end at the door. If you choose, we can even track your purchases and tell you what you had last week, last month or even last year.
